It is Set To Thrive’s 4th Anniversary!

In our first 4 years, Set To Thrive has remained committed to addressing a profound crisis that begins at the most traumatic moment in a child’s life. Through strong partnerships with public and private social service agencies and local school districts, we’ve grown into a trusted resource in our community.

We are proud that since 2021, Set To Thrive has delivered more than 4,400 bags to children and youth in foster care or experiencing homelessness. That's more than 1,400 Thrive Bags filled with new essential items and over 3,000 Student Bags. And that’s more than $475,000 worth of new inventory directly into the hands of the children who need it most.

Set To Thrive has delivered over:

  • 3,547 backpacks

  • 826 duffel bags

  • 6,000 hoodies and t-shirts

  • 7,130 pairs of underwear

  • 7,130 pairs of socks

  • 1,426 pairs of new tennis shoes

  • 4,373 journals

And that is just a small fraction of the inventory delivered.  

Every child deserves more than just the bare minimum—they deserve the essentials that allow them to feel safe, confident, and ready to thrive at home, at school, and in life.

Now in 2025, we are deepening our impact. We have partnered with 2 new school districts this year. As our social service and school district partners continue to clarify their needs, we adapt our programs to those needs. With volunteers regularly working in our warehouse space, and with plans to expand our partnerships with businesses, school districts, and social services, we are poised to reach even more children across our region.
