Partner Spotlight: Changing Lives with Alameda County CASA

Every child deserves someone in their corner.

For nearly five years, Set To Thrive has partnered with Alameda County Court-Appointed Special Advocates (ACCASA) to support youth experiencing foster care—children who need stability, advocacy, and care during uncertain times.

Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve delivered over 280 Thrive Bags and 250 Back-to-School backpacks filled with essential items to ACCASA youth—helping them feel seen, cared for, and confident when it matters most.

ACCASA’s volunteer advocates (“CASAs”) are often the only constant person in a child’s life. As an ACCASA partner, we’re not just meeting basic needs—we’re showing these children they matter. Watch the video and read a note from a CASA volunteer to see the impact you’re helping make possible.

Now, we need your help to do even more.
Your donation today ensures the next child entering foster care receives comfort, dignity, and support from day one.

👉 Give today and be the reason a child feels seen!

“A memorable example is my CASA and her 11-year-old male youth. She took the bag to her scheduled visit, and he opened it before heading to the basketball court to play with his friends. He was so excited to see that STT included a pair of popular Nikes! He took the shoes with him (along with his CASA) to the court and showed them off to his friends.”
